General Manager, Customer Experience

Amanda joined HMH in 2020 and was named General Manager of Customer Experience in 2025. She leads cross-functional teams focused on delivering a seamless, high-impact experience across every stage of the customer journey.

A former classroom teacher, Amanda brings a deep understanding of educator needs to every decision and is deeply committed to ensuring that educators and administrators have the support they need to succeed. With over 20 years of experience in K–12 educational technology, Amanda has led product development, product management and customer operations teams, designing and delivering solutions that drive meaningful learning outcomes and empower educators. She brings a passion for innovation, using data and continuous improvement to elevate customer experiences.

Before HMH, Amanda was VP of Product Management and Strategy at Illuminate Education and held leadership roles at McGraw Hill and Pearson. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology.
