Dr. Kate Kinsella, expert in academic language development

Grades K–3: Designated ELD for newcomers and early-stage multilingual learners
English 3D provides Designated ELD for California’s youngest multilingual learners as they begin developing English proficiency.

Grades 4–12: Designated ELD for newcomers
English 3D offers a Designated newcomer pathway that develops English proficiency and academic language through grade-appropriate instruction.

Grades 4–8: Program 5 approved Specialized Designated ELD
English 3D provides Specialized Designated ELD for multilingual learners who need additional support, including LTELs and at-risk LTELs.

Grades 9–12: Designated ELD for high school multilingual learners
For high school students beyond the earliest stages of language development, including long-term English learners, English 3D supports ELPAC success and accelerates reclassification.
