About the Presenters

Venola Mason is driven by the belief that every student deserves a high-quality education that can afford them many opportunities to lead and contribute to the world as they transition to adulthood. She is passionate about working with school-based and district-level leaders to create practical solutions to increase student achievement using data and support implementation efforts. Venola holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and technology and maintains her teacher and administrator credentials in the state of Georgia.

Dr. Meaghan Pavlovich is a director at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where she supports the strategy for professional learning. Before coming to Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Dr. Pavlovich was an elementary classroom teacher for 10 years. She completed her doctorate in elementary math curriculum and instruction in 2019, which focused on understanding the mathematical identity of teachers as a means to more equitable practices in mathematics.
